Responsibilities include general repairs, basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, tiling, and minor electrical tasks where qualified. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and providing a tidy, well-maintained environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a handyperson, maintenance, property, construction, or similar role.
• Good practical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to undertake a variety of general maintenance tasks.
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance across the property.
• Complete basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, tiling, and minor electrical tasks where appropriately qualified.
• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain fixtures, fittings, furniture, and equipment.
• Identify maintenance issues and report any work requiring specialist attention.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised.
• Maintain tools and equipment and report any defects or replacements required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritise urgent repairs.
• Work in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
• Work professionally and courteously with staff, customers, contractors, and visitors.
