Job summary

Puro Associates in Manchester is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established firm. The role offers exposure to a broad range of contentious property matters for commercial clients, landlords, tenants, developers, investors, and private individuals.

You will manage your own caseload, conduct pleadings and advocacy, and work within a supportive team while developing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in Property Litigation.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential and commercial property disputes.
• Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property disputes.
• Advise clients on landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, possession claims, forfeiture, dilapidations, and service charge disputes.
• Handle boundary disputes, rights of way, restrictive covenants, easements, nuisance, and trespass matters.
• Represent clients throughout litigation, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct negotiations and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional client care.
• Support business development activities and contribute to the continued growth of the department.
