Job summary

Canford Law is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join our growing legal team as part of an exciting new initiative within the Canford Group.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded Solicitor to play a key role within a developing area of the business, managing a complex and varied caseload of contentious property matters across the County Court and First-tier Tribunal.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in property litigation.
• Ability to manage a varied, high-volume caseload independently.
• Strong drafting, research and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Experience with County Court and First-tier Tribunal matters.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing a varied caseload of contentious property litigation matters.
• Handling defended service charge, ground rent, and possession matters relating to residential property.
• Reviewing claims, assessing the merits of defences and/or counterclaims, and providing clear advice to clients and agents.
• Advising on breach of covenant matters and progressing cases in line with client instructions.
• Ensuring compliance with Court and Tribunal deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Providing timely and commercially focused Landlord & Tenant advice.
• Maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication, updates, and reporting.
• Producing clear and concise reporting where required.
