A reputable legal firm in London is seeking a Property Litigation Lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE for a 6-month assignment. The successful candidate will work closely with a Partner on a property dispute related to cladding, with hearings scheduled for March 2026. Job description

Our client, a highly regarded Top 100 firm, is looking to engage a Property Litigation Lawyer with upwards of 2 years' PQE for an assignment of circa 6 months in duration. The role is to start in early November and will require some office attendance in London (a hybrid working policy is in place).

The successful individual can expect to work closely with a Partner on a particular dispute, relating to property cladding, that is listed for hearing in March 2026.

It is likely that successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales
  • Upwards of 2 years' PQE in handling a full range of property litigation matters
  • Experience gained from notable City firms
  • Amble hearing experience
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Prior experience in handling landlord and tenant disputes involving cladding would be highly beneficial
  • The ability to start a new role at short notice

Due to the nature of their requirement, the firm can engage individuals either on a pro rata annual salary or a daily rate (inside IR35).
