Bidwells in Cambridge is seeking a Fund Analyst to join the Investment and Property Management team, applying accounting expertise to property investment and portfolio management. You’ll work across long-term endowment portfolios, modelling and analysing investments to support commercial decisions.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, strong Excel and modelling skills, and a passion for property and investment. Cambridge-based with an emphasis on impactful, data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to build financial models from first principles.
• Experience in property investment and portfolio analysis is a plus.
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts, forecasts and quarterly reporting packs for client committees.
• Analyse portfolio performance and monitor performance against budgets.
• Build robust financial models to assess investment and commercial business cases.
• Appraise development opportunities, capital expenditure projects, acquisitions and disposals.
• Assess returns using IRR, NPV and cash-on-cash returns.
• Run sensitivity, scenario and risk analyses to understand outcomes.
• Turn complex financial information into clear commercial insights for decision-makers.
