William James Recruitment is seeking a Property Damage Solicitor for its Manchester team. You will handle a varied caseload of household and commercial property recovery claims arising from fire, flood, impact and product liability, with many cases exceeding £100,000 in value.

This opportunity offers exposure to high-value insurance litigation within a growing specialist team, with a salary up to £55,000 and hybrid, flexible working.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in property litigation (defendant or claimant considered).
• Experience handling property damage recovery claims.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle household and commercial property recovery claims.
• Investigate liability and assess prospects of recovery.
• Draft legal documents and manage disclosure processes.
• Instruct counsel and experts where required.
• Prepare for hearings, negotiations, and ADR processes.

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent)

• Excellent communication and client care ability
• Able to manage a caseload independently and as part of a team
• Commercially aware with an interest in negotiation and advocacy
