Property Damage Solicitor – 3+ PQE | Birmingham

Location: Birmingham | Salary: £50,000–£60,000 (DOE) | PQE: 3+ | Work Pattern: Hybrid

We are working with a top insurance litigation firm that is looking to recruit three qualified lawyers into their highly regarded Birmingham team. The Partners seek talented litigators with experience in handling complex property damage work for major insurers, including recoveries, coverage, and defence.

This opportunity has arisen due to an influx of complex work into the department. The firm is keen to speak to qualified solicitors and legal executives with at least 3 PQE.

The Opportunity

• Represent major insurers and corporates in high-profile commercial insurance litigation
• Handle property damage claims related to risks such as fire, flood, construction, and subsidence
• Manage subrogated recoveries, coverage disputes, and liability claims
• Contribute to business development and strategic client training initiatives
• Mentor and develop less experienced fee earners

Ideal Candidate

Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years’ PQE
Proven experience in property damage, subrogated loss, or broader insurance litigation
Strong drafting, analysis, and client skills
Commercial awareness and excellent client care
