This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, specialist legal team in Birmingham as a Property Counsel, focusing on non-contentious property work within the utilities sector. You’ll take the lead on drafting and negotiating easements, leases, and land rights agreements with major utility and telecom operators, supporting the delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure project.
The team is collaborative and well-established, offering direct access to senior mentoring and a positive, supportive working environment. Unlike private practice, there’s no time recording, no internal billing, and a genuine emphasis on predictable hours and balance.
This newly created position offers a rare blend of meaningful work, professional development, and excellent work-life balance. You’ll gain exposure to complex, high-value negotiations without the long hours or billable targets of private practice.
