A leading insurance company in Glasgow seeks an experienced Property and Casualty Package Underwriter to focus on new business development within the upper lower middle-market segment. The role is for a Property & Casualty Package Underwriter, focussed on new business development in the upper lower middle-market segment. You would be responsible for new business underwriting and trading with broker partners from across the North and Scotland, including pipelining, quoting, negotiating and writing new P&C package business.
You will be expected to have property and casualty technical experience, knowledge and aptitude to establish underwriting authority and exercise this within Chubb\'s technical guidelines and best practices. You will also be expected to have passion, skill and a track record for new business development in the upper lower middle-market segment. You will be measured against key new business metrics and goals. Positive engagement and collaboration with our broker partners, underwriting management, sales and distribution and cross-line colleagues would be key to success in this role. The role is based in Glasgow.
