Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) required.
• Experience in financial accounting and statutory accounts.
• Experience overseeing bookkeeping, reconciliations and controls.
• Knowledge of VAT and tax reporting.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the company's financial accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Preparing management accounts, financial statements and reports to support business planning and decision-making.
• Managing cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.
• Overseeing bookkeeping processes, bank reconciliations, purchase and sales ledgers and financial controls.
• Managing VAT returns, statutory accounts and other relevant financial and tax reporting requirements.
• Liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and other professional advisers, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory obligations.
