DataAnnotation is hiring a Proofreader to help train and refine AI language models. This is a remote, flexible contract role open to UK-based applicants, ideal for individuals with strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.

You’ll work on projects that involve evaluating AI-generated content, testing chatbot logic, and improving model performance through detailed feedback and linguistic precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign complex tasks to AI chatbots and evaluate their outputs
• Assess the quality, accuracy, and clarity of AI-generated text
• Provide feedback to improve grammar, style, tone, and brand voice
• Apply research and fact‑checking skills to ensure content reliability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
• Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills
• A current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Interest in writing, editing, and language use

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: Starting at $20+ USD per hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
• Schedule: Flexible – choose your own hours and projects
