Projects Manager - Door Industry

Location: Sheffield (Office-Based)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm

About the Business

A well-established and growing manufacturer and supplier of timber performance doors is seeking an experienced Projects Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage tenders for doorsets, ironmongery, and related products
  • Accurately record and track tender activity using the company's CRM system
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-up
  • Review technical and compliance documentation to ensure performance standards are met
  • Ensure all customer orders align with approved quotations and project specifications
  • Manage post-order technical queries through planning, scheduling, and procurement stages
  • Oversee the project lifecycle to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved
  • Provide technical and commercial support for allocated projects and general client enquiries
Experience & Knowledge Required
  • Proven experience in estimating and project management within the door, construction, or manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of doors, ironmongery, and related products
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Experience working with main contractors, trade contractors, or architects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); CAD experience beneficial
