Projects Lawyer (4+ years') – Edinburgh/Glasgow

A leading team is seeking a Projects Lawyer(4+ years') to support a wide range of major energy, transport and infrastructure matters. The role would suit someone who enjoys complex, intellectually engaging work and is motivated by contributing to projects that support long-term infrastructure development and the transition to net zero.

The Opportunity:

You will work across a varied portfolio of UK and Ireland projects, with occasional opportunities to support international matters. The work spans large-scale energy, transport and infrastructure transactions, often involving first-of-their-kind structures or regulatory developments. The position offers strong client exposure, opportunities to build lasting relationships and a clear route for progression.

Secondment opportunities-both client-facing and internal across UK and international offices-are also available.

Key Requirements:
  • 4+ years'within projects, infrastructure, transport, or energy
  • Strong drafting skills and confidence handling detailed contractual documentation
  • Ability to assess and manage legal and commercial risks
  • Collaborative approach and comfort working with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and an interest in building client relationships
  • Experience in rail or project finance is helpful but not essential
Working Pattern:

The role is available in Edinburgh or Glasgow, with hybrid working as standard. Remote arrangements may be considered for candidates with the required experience.
