A supportive living service in Cookstown is seeking dedicated individuals to support adults with complex mental health conditions. The role involves developing trusting relationships, maintaining a therapeutic environment, and assisting with mental health management. Qualified candidates should have QCF/NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent, flexibility in working hours, and experience in health and social care. New Haven is a warm, homely 24-hour supported living service based in a shared house in Cookstown. We support five adults aged 18-60 who are living with complex mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and high-functioning autism.Our role is to help residents develop daily living skills, build healthy routines and relationships, and grow their confidence to live as independently as possible within the community. Referrals come from the Community Mental Health Team and local hospitals, and each resident receives person-centred support tailored to their needs.The main function of the role is to provide the highest possible standard of care and support to Service Users by actively promoting and implementing Recovery by using a strengths based person centred approach.
