Job summary

A Midlands based Housing Association is seeking a Project Surveyor for a 6-month temporary contract. Responsibilities include monitoring performance of surveying teams, conducting quality audits, and delivering training. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in domestic property surveying, preferably in social housing, and hold relevant qualifications. The role offers an hourly rate of £26.50 to £30 depending on experience and qualifications.

Overview

Project Surveyors required to work with a leading Midlands based Housing Association on a 6 month temporary contract.

My client requires experience and professional building surveyors for a 6 month contract, that would like be extended.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and review performance and development of both in house and external surveying teams addressing all performance shortfalls within the survey program.
  • Undertake quality review audits on completed surveys and identify non compliances in survey data and implement remedial measures.
  • Review surveying teams performance and ensure key performance indicators are inline with the survey program.
  • Undertake stock condition surveys, defect analysis and dilapidation surveys when required.
  • Deliver survey workshops and on site 1 to 1 training to address any skills gap.
  • Have a good awareness and understanding of changes in legislation and case law relating to housing disrepair.
Job Details
  • Hourly rate: £26.50 – £30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Location: Wolverhampton and surrounding region
  • Duration: 6 months with possible extension
  • Start date: ASAP
