A prominent healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Project Support Officer to manage assigned projects, requiring strong project management skills and effective communication with various stakeholders. The position allows remote work with occasional site visits necessary for project launches and key meetings. Ideal candidates will have a proactive approach to project initiatives and a collaborative spirit in a healthcare environment.
The post holder will have good project management skills and be able to organise themselves effectively and self‑start on new project initiatives without requiring close supervision. Confident communication and good influencing skills with managers, stakeholders, IT teams and clinicians are essential to be successful in the role.
Projects will be assigned to the Project Support Officer by the Senior Technical Project Manager. The healthcare service areas benefiting from these projects will include the Planned and Unplanned care divisions within the Trust – as well as Facilities and Corporate departments.
The job will require working remotely online from home, with occasional site visits for project launches and when key face‑to‑face meetings with management, clinical or IT staff are required.
We are also working towards the alignment of Digital/IT programme resource and processes across the North West London Trust sector – so the successful applicant will be required to work and communicate with colleagues and suppliers across Trusts where required.
