Salary: £25,911 rising to £28,214 per annum (pro rata of £29,497 rising to £32,118)

Located on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Furness College is a vibrant, innovative and fast-paced FE College, benefiting from strong partnerships with local employers and universities. Project Search Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience of SEND provision and EHCPs to co-ordinate our supported internship programme at BAE Systems. With our key partners DFN Project Search and BAE Systems our interns will develop the skills they need for the workplace through a structured and supportive programme with the goal of securing paid employment.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative collaboration aiming to support learners aged 18-25 with learning differences and disabilities into a range of roles within BAE to help secure future employment. In this role you will be able to make a difference on a daily basis, what you do will change lives.

If you have experience of safeguarding, SEND, EHCPs, employability and pastoral care you could be the ideal candidate for us. Specific tasks and responsibilities of the role can be found in the attached job description.

Hours: 37 hours per week

Tenure: Permanent

Annual Leave: Term time only working 39 weeks per year
