Job summary

A major contractor is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle within the London & South East area. The role involves managing cost control across projects valued between £5m - £15m. Responsibilities

• Negotiate final accounts to secure optimal outcomes.

Skills

Expert knowledge of working under the JCT D&B form of contract

Overview

Role: Project Quantity Surveyor

Location: London & South East

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

You will

• Have full exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
• Work alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
• Manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
• Be involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
• Be working on projects that can range in value from £5m - £15m across various sectors

This major contractor is looking for

• Expert knowledge of working under the JCT D&B form of contract
• Knowledge of procurement and sub contractor management
• The ability to create accurate commercial reports
• Experience working for either a regional / national contractor as the Quantity / Project Surveyor
