Job summary

A leading construction recruitment agency is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to manage the project lifecycle and commercial aspects from procurement to account settlement. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of JCT D&B contracts, experience with subcontractor management, and a background in regional/national contracting. Join to work on diverse projects worth £5m - £15m in the London and South East area.

Qualifications

• Experience working on projects valued from £5m to £15m.
• Ability to work across pre-construction to project delivery.
• Experience as a Quantity/Project Surveyor for regional/national contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle and cost management.
• Oversee commercial aspects of subcontract accounts.
• Negotiate final accounts for optimal outcomes.

Overview

Role: Project Quantity Surveyor

Location: London & South East

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities

• Have full exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
• Work alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
• Manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
• Be involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
• Be working on projects that can range in value from £5m - £15m across various sectors

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of working under the JCT D&B form of contract
• Knowledge of procurement and sub contractor management
• The ability to create accurate commercial reports
• Experience working for either a regional / national contractor as the Quantity / Project Surveyor
