Overview

Project Quantity Surveyor – Leicester (New Regional Office). 📍 Leicester (New Regional Office) • £70,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits • Main Contractor - Retrofit, Decarb, EWI, and Cladding

Join one of the UK's fastest-growing specialist contractors in façade remediation, retrofit/decarbonisation, and planned refurbishment. Following a successful run of national framework wins and long-term SHDF retrofit programmes, our client is opening a brand-new regional office in Leicester. We are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to help deliver 2 active SHDF / EWI low-rise blocks and support our continued growth in the Midlands.

About the Project

You'll join a regional team focused on delivering 7 low-rise residential blocks through external wall insulation (EWI), cladding upgrades, and full SHDF compliance. This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially sharp QS who wants to take ownership, grow with the region, and make a real difference to the performance and safety of UK homes.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for 2 live EWI / SHDF blocks in Leicester
• Oversee procurement, valuations, variations, subcontractor payments, and reporting
• Work closely with the PM and site team to ensure profit and delivery goals
• Liaise with housing clients, consultants, and framework partners
• Support the regional commercial manager and help shape best practice

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Project QS or Quantity Surveyor within construction
• Background in façade, cladding, EWI, or retrofit / SHDF projects preferred
• Commercially driven with good contract knowledge (JCT / term partnering etc.)
• Able to manage multiple packages and suppliers in a live delivery environment
• Based in (or willing to travel regularly to) Leicester / East Midlands
