Job summary

Bluebook Partners LTD is seeking a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor for a central London project, paying £550 per day. The role involves full commercial control on a circa £20m contract within a busy, high-profile engineering environment.

You will report directly to the Surveying Director and require strong NEC/JCT experience, and a proven track record on large-scale London schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree/Masters in Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Strong NEC/JCT contract knowledge.
• Experience leading £20m+ projects as commercial lead.
• Experience with central London schemes (ideally).

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility for a major project (circa £20m) reporting directly into the Surveying Director.
• Manage commercial aspects across the project lifecycle on complex engineering schemes.
• Collaborate with procurement, design and site teams to maximise value and minimise cost.
• Ensure NEC/JCT contract compliance and robust cost reporting.

• Complex engineering projects
• Scope: cut & carve works, deep basements, piling, RC Frame
• Projects up to £30m (acting as principal contractor)
• Up to £550 p/d (all in rate)

You’ll take full commercial responsibility for a major project (circa £20m) reporting directly into the Surveying Director.

Key requirements:

1. Degree/Masters in Quantity Surveying or similar
2. Technically very strong with an excellent understanding of NEC/JCT
3. Experience running £20m + projects as commercial lead
4. Experience with central London schemes (ideally)
