Project Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Fit Out)
Location: London (3-4 Days office based)
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 + Bonus + Package

We are currently seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join one of the Uks leading PQS firms to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile office fit out, hospitality, and mixed‑use projects for large, prestigious blue‑chip clients.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of various commercial fit‑out projects. Your primary focus will be working on CAT A (Cut and Curve) and CAT B projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to oversee the full lifecycle of the project, from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and project timelines

Undertake risk management and advise on cost control measures

Manage procurement processes and contract administration

  • Provide expert advice on financial aspects throughout the project
  • Perform site visits to ensure project quality and progress
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
About You
  • MRICS qualified or working towards (essential)
  • Demonstrable experience working on commercial fit‑out projects, ideally both CAT A and CAT B
  • Experience working with high‑profile, blue‑chip clients
  • Strong knowledge of current market rates, procurement strategies, and contract law
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skillsA proactive, self‑motivated approach to work with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
