Job summary

CGI in Aberdeen is seeking a Project Planner/PMO to own and maintain an integrated programme schedule using Microsoft Project. You will validate baselines and provide senior management with credible delivery insights, collaborating with Programme Managers and workstream leads in a high-visibility role.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in project or programme planning, scheduling or PMO environments.
• MS Project proficiency, including developing and maintaining complex schedules.
• Ability to establish, validating and maintain credible schedule baselines.
• Understanding of schedule logic, dependencies, milestones, constraints and critical-path analysis.
• Ability to stress test schedules and assess impact of risks and scenarios.
• Experience assessing schedules against resource capacity and identifying bottlenecks.
• Proven ability to work with Programme Managers, project managers, and senior stakeholders.
• Delivery focus with a structured approach to critical planning outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, consolidate and maintain the programme-level schedule using MS Project.
• Lead planning activity to develop a robust baseline for the programme schedule.
• Review schedule logic, milestones and dependencies to identify gaps.
• Perform critical-path analysis to identify activities affecting milestones.
• Model schedule risks and delivery scenarios to understand impacts.
• Assess resource availability and capacity against the schedule to highlight bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with programme stakeholders to capture and validate planning information.
• Translate scheduling information into clear insights for senior decision-making.
