Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a proactive Planner to join our Complex Projects team in the UK. You will lead schedule builds, baselines, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on Earned Value Management and interface planning. Responsibilities

• The full build and management of schedules, interfaces with stakeholders, and engagement.
• Maintenance and management of baselines to support contractual and performance metrics.
• Lead meetings/workshops to review progress and performance.
• Support Planning/Project Controls Managers to maintain schedules and interfaces.
• Manage contract requirements for schedules; provide advanced reporting (EVM).
• Integrate function-related Schedule, Cost and Risk data.
• Provide critical path evaluation and scenario planning to mitigate issues.

Your role

• The full build and management of schedules, their working interfaces, and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintenance and Management of Baselines to support contractual and performance metrics.
• Provide meetings and workshops to challenge the progress and performance of projects.
• Support Planning / Project Controls Managers to maintain schedules and their interfaces.
• Manage the contract requirements for the schedules. Provide advanced hierarchical reporting outputs such as Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience of Integration of function-related Schedule, Cost and Risk.
• Provide Critical Path evaluation and scenario planning options to mitigate issues and improve efficiencies. Proficient in various types of delay analysis techniques.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience as a Planne-r, specializing in transportation, aviation, energy, defence, water and rail industry experience.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and their application in project management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate across diverse groups.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
