Project Planner

Are you a skilled Project Planner ready for the next challenge? This is a key permanent role with a major engineering and technology organisation in Hertfordshire, offering a rewarding hybrid working pattern and excellent opportunities for professional development. What You Will Do
  • Lead the generation of the Integrated Baseline Schedule to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Conduct Schedule Assessments to validate project‑level schedules are accurate and aligned with planning principles.
  • Perform Project Health checks, validating assessments and identifying key issues and risks for the project teams.
  • Validate Project level Costs to Go (and associated Estimate at Completion) for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Steer Schedule Risk Analysis and actively support new business bids, implementing project management best practices.

Your Essential Expertise

  • Proven planning experience, from detailed task planning to summary milestone delivery.
  • Capability in establishing and maintaining robust project structures (WBS/CBS/OBS).
  • Experience generating and analysing project performance data (schedule resource and cost).
  • Ability to conduct and analyse Schedule Risk Analysis and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Proficiency with key Project Management Toolsets (such as SAP ARM Primavera or Oracle Unifier).
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders and foster collaborative working relationships.
