Saints Foundation support Southampton by delivering projects that respond to the ever‑evolving needs of the people of our city. We work across five key focuses – Health, Education, Development, Employability and Pathways – with the aim of levelling the playing field.
You will develop and deliver Saints Foundation’s volunteering programme, creating meaningful opportunities that build skills, confidence, and pathways to sustainable placements or careers.
As part of the Employability team, you will manage the volunteering journey – from recruitment and induction to placement and progression – while ensuring volunteers help develop our future workforce, create capacity, and provide inspiring opportunities, making a lasting impact on participants and the community.
After working with the Projects Team to identify new volunteering opportunities, you will create role descriptions, induction packs and task profiles and then ensure volunteers are matched to suitable opportunities based on skills, interests and goals.
You will provide ongoing communication with volunteers to track progress and monitor Individual development plans as well as administrative and logistical support, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience.
You are passionate about supporting others and making a difference in the community with a proactive and positive approach and willingness to learn. You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage people from all backgrounds.
