A local governance organization in the UK is seeking a Project Officer to support the delivery of a Micro Provider programme, empowering individuals and community organizations to create sustainable care solutions. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, a knowledge of Adult Social Care, and be community-minded. The role offers a salary band of £32,061-£36,363 (part-time options available) and requires occasional flexible working. Candidates must demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK.
Salary: Band 7, £32,061- £36,363 (30 hours £25,995- £29,483). 37 hours per week; part‑time from 30 hours considered.
This is a great opportunity for a community minded individual to be involved in the creation and supporting of a project that gives more independence to those who need it most.
In this role you will support the delivery of the Micro Provider programme project. The purpose of the project is to empower local individuals and community organisations to create small, sustainable enterprises that deliver innovative, person‑centred care and support for those who require assistance at home or within their local communities. You will work closely with the Team Leader, contributing to planning, development and delivery, while maintaining accurate up-to-date records. You will identify and support individuals establishing micro‑entreprises, building strong working relationships. You will provide guidance, encouragement and practical assistance, promoting the programme through digital platforms or community outreach.
Strong interpersonal skills, understanding of Adult Social Care and desire to innovate. Community minded, creative, proactive, passionate about supporting people. Organised, self‑motivated, able to manage a varied workload. Knowledge of asset‑based community development and safeguarding, understanding legal frameworks (HMRC, CQC, insurance, regulatory requirements). Excellent IT skills, flexible to meet business needs (occasional evenings and weekends). Car driver with access to a car for moving promotional material across the city.
