Project Officer: 37.5hr - fixed term to 31/05/26

An exciting opportunity exists within our Digital Programmes team, liaising with our health partners, including acute hospitals, community services and GP practices. The Project Officer will be a key member of the team driving a transformational IT modernisation programme.

Main Duties

Assist programme and project managers on one or more digital programmes/projects. Assistance includes:

  • Support the development and maintenance of project documents and data collection systems
  • Gather, interpret and present information
  • Help introduce user‑led design to projects
  • Work with user groups
  • Provide project coordination
  • Administration of project / programme meetings
  • Providing support to users
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Educated to Diploma level or equivalent, or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge
  • Basic understanding of formal project management methodologies and tools
  • Principles of Risk & issue management
  • Principles of Budgeting
  • Principles of Benefits Management
  • Principles of planning and resource management
