Job summary

Lloyd's Register International is seeking a Project Officer in Andover within the Fieldwork department. The role reports to the Senior Project Officer and is responsible for supporting project supervisors, archaeologists and trainees on site.

Salary ranges from £37,021 to £39,718, with a six-month probationary period. For this permanent contract, membership of CIfA at PCIfA level is desirable or evidence of meeting requirements with a commitment to join if appointed.

Qualifications

• Essential: Good communication skills and the ability to organise, motivate, train, appraise and direct staff.
• Administrative ability in the keeping of records and accounts and the submission of reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications – including word-processing, excel and database skills
• Competent in carrying out first aid.

Responsibilities

PERMANENT CONTRACTS

Subject to successful completion of 6-month probationary period.

For Project Supervisor and Project Officer roles, membership of the CIfA at PCIfA level is desirable
(or able to demonstrate that you meet the requirements and a commitment to join if appointed)

Senior Project Officer role membership is essential at least to ACIFA level.
