Job summary

Egis is seeking a Water and Environment Project Manager to join the UK P3M CM team, supporting project preparation, contract administration, and delivery across water and environment sectors in the Midlands. The role offers hybrid working, exposure to multi-sector projects, and structured development toward chartership.

You will work on NEC3/4 contract administration, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, with opportunities to progress within the growing Egis UK presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a numeric field is required.
• Experience in Civil Infrastructure Engineering is essential.
• Working towards membership of a chartered body such as APM (MAPM) is desirable.
• Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card desirable.
• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• This role is subject to a client interview.
• Role requires 3–4 days in the Midlands office.

Responsibilities

• Administer NEC3/4 contracts (Options A, C & E) from the client side.
• Support budget control, forecasting, and defined cost planning.
• Collaborate with QS teams on valuations and payment certificates.
• Assist in drafting contractual communications (EWNs, CE notifications).
• Conduct scope planning and feasibility assessments.
• Assist in tender documentation and evaluations.
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation.
• Engage with contractors during design phases.
• Monitor progress, cash flow, and expenditure; manage changes.
• Participate in dispute resolution and final accounts.
• Maintain project databases and governance documentation.

Role Responsibilities:

Contract & Commercial Delivery

Execution & Oversight

• Monitor project progress, cash flow, and expenditure
• Support delivery through change management and variation handling
• Participate in dispute resolution and final account preparation
• Ensure appropriate record keeping and contract compliance

Business Support & Growth

• Help identify opportunities for process improvement and best practice
• Maintain project databases, visuals, and supporting collateral
• Contribute to internal reporting, governance, and delivery reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree qualification in a numeric degree
