Project Manager Vacancy

Project Manager – Remote, Midlands based covering the UK – up to £55k + car + Benefits

This client, one of the UK’s leading companies in Fuel Storage Solutions, is seeking a RE Pet Op SNCO or equivalent to join their expanding team due to increasing projects.

You will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and monitoring all aspects of specific projects, ensuring safe delivery.

Your role will include:

  • Visiting clients to understand their needs and supply quotes
  • Full project management, including creation and delivery of project work plans
  • Identifying resources, assigning responsibilities, and managing day-to-day operational aspects
  • Working with customers and suppliers to define and document questions
  • Submitting project status reports and anticipating change
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are factored in
  • Conducting site visits and reporting progress
  • Ensuring work is delivered within budget
  • Co-operating with line management to ensure compliance with site rules
  • Working alongside the team to develop equipment, plant, and systems to improve safety and operational efficiency

To be eligible, you will need:

  • IT Literacy
  • Active listening and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong decision-making capability
  • Resource and time management skills
  • Prince 2, CSCS, or SMSTS certification (desirable)
  • SC Clearance (preferred)

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and construction of fixed fuel facilities, possibly from a Royal Engineer or RAF/RN equivalent background.

The company offers a starting salary of £45-55k + Car and benefits, including 25-day leave, working away allowance, and ongoing support and development.
