Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per year

Employment type: full‑time (flexible part‑time discussed)

The Opportunity

Join our expanding Sizewell C team on one of the largest megaprojects in the UK. The SZC Project is a nuclear new build in Suffolk with construction starting this year.

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the Turbine Building sub‑programme.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead a Multidisciplinary Delivery Team (MDT) and drive delivery of complex systems, structures and components in the Conventional Island area.
  • Manage work related to the Turbine Building, solving timing and technical challenges critical to the project’s success.
  • Provide strong leadership to ensure nuclear safety is maintained while delivering on quality, timescales and budget.
  • Directly manage contractors and oversee project delivery of multiple stakeholders and partners.
  • Apply demonstrable project‑management experience and strong understanding of engineering within a nuclear environment.
Who you are
  • Hands‑on Project Professional with proven experience in management and major project delivery, preferably in conventional island power plant scope.
  • Strong technical background to communicate complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Success in engineering design, contract and execution strategies; familiar with multi‑discipline projects and complex stakeholder management; proficient in project controls.
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants and advisors in regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills; able to build strong relationships and networks.
  • Leadership skills highlighted by stakeholder engagement and effective team management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is essential; professional qualifications (MIMechE, MICE, MCIOB, APM ChPP) very desirable.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations, nuclear quality standards and quality assurance approaches beneficial.
