Job summary

Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a qualified professional to lead the PFI expiry project, monitoring and reporting on planned and reactive works to meet contract requirements and performance indicators.

The post holder will provide technical expertise in FM Co works, liaising with the Hospital Operations Manager to support expiry activities. Welsh language ability is desirable, and experience in building services surveys will aid long-term planning.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent experience.
• Experience in estate or building discipline.
• Knowledge of PFI contracts and project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PFI Expiry project and monitor progress against contract requirements and KPIs.
• Analyse complex operational data and report findings to stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise on FM Co planned and reactive works.
• Collaborate with the Hospital Operations Manager to support expiry activities.
• Present data to stakeholders and interpret findings with clear recommendations.
• Maintain and track the project plan and delivery timescales.

Day to day responsibilities will include taking a lead role within the PFI Expiry project taking responsibility for monitoring and reporting on the impact of planned and reactive works against the PFI contract requirements and performance indicators ,working closely with the stakehokders to identify and act upon opportunities for service modernisation in line with the project This will include using a range of sources to provide and analyse complex information relating to operational performance and measurement of impact of the programme, The post holder will provide technical expertise to the PFI expiry project in relation to FM Co planned and reactive works. and liaise and collaborate with the Hospital Operations Manager to support PFI contract and expiry activities.The post holder will be responsible for presenting data to stakeholders and must be able to explain clearly their findings and identify improvements, following through with timescales and delivery of improvements.
