Job summary

Vantage Consulting in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Project Manager with experience in switchgear systems to deliver engineering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

You will coordinate across engineering, procurement and site teams, manage risks, maintain stakeholder relationships, and report regularly on project status. A relevant engineering degree and knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMP are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Manager or Assistant PM in industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of switchgear systems LV/MV/HV.
• Experience delivering engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• PRINCE2 or PMP knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of switchgear-related projects from initiation to completion.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination.
• Work with engineering, procurement, and site teams to meet milestones.
• Act as main contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Track progress, identify risks and issues, implement mitigation.
