Join us in transforming the way the UK heats its homes and buildings and help accelerate the transition to clean energy.

Kensa is helping lead the shift to low-carbon heating across the UK, and our Project Managers play a vital role in delivering high-quality heat pump projects that make a real difference for people, communities, and the planet.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands‑on environment, with the ability to lead diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Someone who’s confident coordinating multiple stakeholders, balancing technical and commercial priorities, and keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish.

If you enjoy solving problems, building strong relationships, and taking ownership of projects, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly evolving sector. Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence is essential.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing heat pump and low‑carbon heating projects from planning through to delivery and completion
  • Creating clear project plans with defined scopes, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coordinating internal teams, external contractors, and partners to keep projects on track
  • Monitoring budgets, financial performance, and commercial obligations
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Identifying risks and developing mitigation plans to keep delivery running smoothly
  • Providing regular updates to stakeholders and maintaining strong communication throughout
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of project delivery processes
  • Shaping best practices and influencing innovation in sustainable heating projects
What you'll bring
  • Experience managing projects within construction – new build, domestic retrofit and/or commercial applications
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple workstreams
  • Clear and confident communication with colleagues, clients, and contractors
  • Experience working with budgets and commercial controls
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
  • The ability to interpret technical information and collaborate closely with engineering teams
  • Competence with project management tools and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable with UK‑wide travel including overnight stays when required
Bonus points for
  • Experience in low‑carbon technologies, renewables, or heat pumps
  • Project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP)
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety
  • Understanding of mechanical or electrical building services
