Job description

Overview

A leading FinTech company based in Telford is seeking a Project Manager or Software Project Manager with some past or present Computer Programming / Cyber Security / Server Installation experience to join their growing team.

Location

You will need to be based in the UK and live close to Telford. Please do not apply if you do not live close to Telford (35 minute or less commute). IMPORTANT: Must be based in or live near Telford, Shropshire (within a 35-minute commute). This is not a remote position due to the advanced methods used day to day — on-site only.

Responsibilities / Skills

• Project Management of software projects;
• Managing multiple client projects;
• Liaising with developers and clients;
• Past or present programming/experience in one or more of the following items would be advantageous: MS SQL, C#, PHP, ASP.NET (web forms and/or Blazor), machine/server rebuilds / cyber security / ISO / SOC.

Salary

Salary: £25,000 – £75,000 (depending on junior to experience and seniority).

Experience & Requirements

• Degree or Minimum 2 years’ commercial experience in a software, IT, or project management role;
• Strong understanding of IT;
• Knowledge of or exposure to cyber security principles and data protection;
• Excellent communication and organisation skills;
• GCSE Maths & English: Grade C or above.

Job Details
