Responsibilities

• Support the Principal Engineer as part of the technical team in the delivery of asset examination approvals and bespoke geotechnical projects.
• Prepare tender programmes and update them during delivery of works.
• Attend client meetings and brief personnel on project requirements.
• Check site outputs and factual reports while maintaining daily and weekly contact with the Principal Engineer.

Qualifications

• Educated to a degree level in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of post‑graduate experience managing site/ground investigations.
• Prior experience preparing Risk Assessment, Method Statements and contract programmes.
• Good attention to detail, pro‑active, confident in meetings and communication with contractors and suppliers.
• Previous experience in the rail environment preferred but not essential.
• Based within 1.5‑hour commute from Brentwood.
