Job summary

GVR Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to join a well-established main contractor in London, delivering fit-out and refurbishment projects across residential, retail, commercial and hospitality sectors. Typical project values range from £1m to £5m.

You will manage full project life cycle, lead on-site teams, control budgets, oversee programmes and ensure high health and safety standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience on commercial or industrial projects is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Builder Trend planning and reporting.
  • Strong focus on quality control and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and client liaison skills.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with the full life cycle of the project – from being awarded the job to handover and final account

GVR Solutions are seeking a Project Manager to join a well-establish main contractor who are currently in the market due to internal promotions within the business.

GVR Solutions are seeking a Project Manager to join a well-establish main contractor who are currently in the market due to internal promotions within the business.

As a main contractor they specialise in Fit-out and Refurbishment projects across bespoke residential, high-end retail, commercial and hospitality. Projects typically range from £1m – £5m in value.

As Project Manager, Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Dealing with the full life cycle of the project – from being awarded the job to handover and final account
  • Day to day running of a project
  • Cost management
  • Programme management
  • visiting sites and having the confidence to deal with big clients
  • Manage the teams on the ground
  • Strong leadership to have limited hierarchy with a silent undertone that they do know who’s running the project.
The Project Manager Must Have/be
  • Professional and presentable, with a driven, proactive approach to work
  • Commercially astute
  • Experience on Commercial or Industrial projects is advantageous
  • An understanding of the programming system Builder Trend
  • A high level of quality control
  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • Good communication skills as well as the ability to liaise with the client
  • Documentation & reporting skills
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
