A well-established supplier of warehouse solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple projects in South West England and South Wales. You will manage project plans, liaise with clients and assist the design team. The ideal candidate has experience in project management, preferably within the racking industry, along with AutoCAD proficiency. Qualifications

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of warehouse racking and associated products across the South West and South Wales. This company are now looking to bring on a new Project Manager to oversee their increasing number of projects. With a competitive basic salary, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking for a new role.

Responsibilities

  • Managing projects of various sizes and values to fit customers requirements for racking, mezzanine flooring, partitioning and related products
  • Creating project plans to fit with the expectations of the company s clients; liaising with them throughout the duration of the project with progress reports
  • Assisting the design team with creating warehouse layout plans, alterations and updates
  • Visiting sites across the South West and South Wales regularly to liaise with site managers
  • Travelling to customer sites further afield when required

Requirements

The company have a preference for a projects focused individual with experience in the Racking & Storage industry, however this is not essential. The role could also suit individuals with contracts/projects experience from similar industries such as interiors, fit outs, shopfitting, partitioning, construction or similar. It is preferable that candidates are proficient in autoCAD and have experience with using computers. In terms of location, applicants should be based in South West England or South Wales.

The Company

Our client is a distributor of warehouse racking products and services. With the bulk of their business being carried out across the South West and South Wales, they also have clients further afield across the UK. Their product range includes pallet racking, mezzanine flooring, partitioning, shelving and lighting. Their projects vary in size and they are also, as a SEMA certified company, able to offer racking inspections for their clients.
