Job description

Hi! We are looking for candidates with extensive experience in quantity surveying, architecture, and project management, with a strong focus on the UK market. This could be a single role or two separate roles. We are open to considering applicants for both QS and/or Architect/Project Manager positions, but UK experience and market knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preconstruction activities: takeoffs, estimates, scheduling, scope of works, package splitting, tender documentation, and subcontractor communication.
  • Technical understanding of construction processes.
  • Reviewing plans and proposing value-engineered alternatives.
  • Contract setup (JCT).
  • Post-contract management: project management, CSA, budget control, procurement, cash flow, and quality control.
  • Handover processes, operation & maintenance.
  • Services and utilities coordination.
  • Building control and warranty provider interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, or Architect in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and architectural design.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.

This is a work-from-home position, operating on a night shift (EST), with weekly pay.
