A regional energy initiative is seeking a Net Zero Neighbourhood Project Manager in Birmingham. This role involves overseeing local net zero projects, managing partnerships, and ensuring on-time, impactful project delivery. Ideal candidates will have experience in project management related to energy and sustainability, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for community-focused energy solutions.
We are looking for a Net Zero Neighbourhood Project Manager to join our Energy Capital team. This is your opportunity to lead pioneering projects that will make a real difference to how people live, work and use energy in their communities.
You’ll play a key role in delivering the Local Net Zero Accelerator, helping to design and implement Net Zero Neighbourhood demonstrators - practical, place-based projects that bring low‑carbon living to life across the West Midlands.
From early development through to delivery, you’ll oversee every stage of the project, working closely with local authorities, partners, and communities to turn ambitious plans into reality.
This role is being offered as a fixed‑term contract until 31st March 2028
You’ll bring experience in project management within energy, sustainability or net zero initiatives, and be comfortable working with a wide range of partners. You’re organised, analytical and calm under pressure - someone who can turn complex ideas into clear actions.
