A major energy company is seeking a Project Manager based in Bridgwater to oversee critical phases of engineering and construction within a key UK project. You will lead activities focused on safety, quality, and budget adherence while managing a diverse project team. Ideal candidates will have project management qualifications and contract execution experience. The role offers a salary between £60,000 and £70,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.
The Project Manager (PM) has the responsibility to ensure delivery of all (or part of) the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning activities for the life cycle of the contract or work package in accordance with the overall Project schedule. The PM will ensure planning and delivery is in accordance with all safety, quality, time and cost parameters to meet the needs of the Project. The PM reports directly to a Senior Project Manager and is responsible for the direction of activities associated with the full life‑cycle delivery of a contract or work package assigned to them.
Be part of a team at the heart of one of the UK's most significant engineering projects. As a member of the Nuclear Island team, you’ll play a key role in the installation of the primary circuit equipment – including the twin reactors, the core of Hinkley Point C. Working closely with our contract partners, you’ll help deliver high‑quality engineering installations that are critical to the plant’s operation.
Must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
The salary range for this role is between £60,000 – £70,000, depending on experience.
