An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to support with Making Every Contact Count (MECC) across ESNEFT. This post is Fixed Term/Secondment until 31st March 2027.

You will promote MECC across the Trust sites, working closely with clinicians and partners to continue the delivery and promotion of the project. You will work with colleagues and delivery partners across the Integrated Care System (ICS) to promote MECC conversations and place patient well-being at the heart of your approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To develop and establish the MECC approach across the Trust and community settings, in collaboration with our ICB and community partners.
  • To engage and enable colleagues to undertake MECC conversations.
  • To support, facilitate, promote, monitor and improve progress of the MECC project outputs and outcomes.
  • To promote the MECC and Quality improvement (QI) approaches by supporting developing Health Inequality and Trust projects to adopt MECC principles.

ESNEFT Employees will be offered on a secondment basis. You will work with the Clinical Leads, partner organisations and other key stakeholders to drive forward the delivery of MECC.

As an engagement specialist, the MECC Project Manager will actively encourage, train and support clinical teams to have MECC conversations with patients across clinical settings. You will network and liaise with health professionals and others within the Trust, providing specialist knowledge and expertise around MECC.
