Job summary

RPC is relocating its Tower Bridge headquarters to 10 Devonshire Square, Liverpool Street. The Project Manager: IT & Technology role leads the IT workstream of the relocation programme, planning, coordinating and delivering all technology-related activities to ensure the new office is connected, secure and operational from Day 1.

Responsibilities

The Core Programme team is made up of the Director of Operations, the Associate Director of IT & Operations, Programme manager and third-party project consultants responsible for property & construction. Change Management and Workstream leads are responsible for building & Operations, People, Engagement & Comms, IT & Technology and Risk, Compliance & Assurance. The role A programme of work in underway at RPC which will see the relocation of its Tower Bridge headquarters to 10 Devonshire Square, Liverpool St. The Project Manager: IT & Technology is responsible for leading the IT & technology workstream of this programme. This involves planning, coordination and delivering all technology-related activities within the office move programme. Working closely with the core programme team, workstream leads and specialist technology consultants, the role will ensure the new office is fully connected, secure and operational from Day 1. The role is accountable for ensuring the successful delivery of technology infrastructure, workplace technology, end-user services and support arrangements are delivered to programme milestones while minimising business disruption and supporting a seamless transition into the firm's new headquarters. The IT & Technology workstream will be managed by this role and the following individuals will report into this position:

Key responsibilities

• Lead the IT & Technology workstream within the office move programme.
• Develop and maintain the technology delivery plan, ensuring alignment with the overall programme schedule.
• Coordinate all technology activities, including Infrastructure & Networks, End User & Workplace Technology and IT Service Delivery. Holding individuals accountable.
• Manage the delivery of all workplace technology, infrastructure and digital workplace solutions required for occupation.
• Ensure technology requirements are incorporated into workplace design, construction and operational planning.
• Manage relationships with internal technology teams, external consultants, suppliers and implementation partners.
• Coordinate technology dependencies across Building & Operations, Risk, Compliance & Assurance and People, Engagement & Comms workstreams.
• Oversee technology risk, issue, dependency and change management activities.
• Ensure appropriate testing, operational readiness and technology signoffs are completed before occupation.
• Coordinate technology cutover, move weekend activities and post-move hyper care.
• Ensure all technology services are successfully transitioned into Business-as-Usual (BAU) support following programme completion.
• Provide regular progress reporting, recommendations and escalations to Programme Leadership and Steering Committee meetings.

Proven Experience / Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex IT projects within a corporate or professional services environment.
• Proven experience leading technology workstreams within large-scale office relocations, workplace transformation or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, workplace technology and end-user computing.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leadership, suppliers and technical teams.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Strong planning, governance and reporting capability.
• Excellent communication, leadership and decision-making skills.
