A well‑established global consultancy is seeking a Project Manager with proven healthcare experience to join its growing London team. Working on a portfolio of high‑profile NHS and private healthcare schemes, this is a career‑defining opportunity for a Project Manager to deliver complex refurbishment and new‑build projects across the capital.

The role will suit a Project Manager who understands the unique challenges of working in live hospital environments, including compliance with healthcare standards, complex stakeholder structures, and the need for flexibility in delivery. The Project Manager will support senior leadership in delivering projects from concept through to completion, with a clear focus on risk management, quality, and end‑user outcomes.

Project Manager’s role
  • Manage the full project lifecycle across healthcare projects up to £50m in value.
  • Write client briefs, handle procurement and tendering, and administer contracts.
  • Track programme progress and manage clinical stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and NHS Trusts to ensure successful delivery within healthcare governance frameworks.
  • Engage with acute care, mental health, outpatient facilities and specialist treatment centres.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in a built environment discipline (e.g. Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying).
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (APM, RICS, CIOB).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering healthcare projects (NHS or private sector).
  • Strong understanding of HTM/HBN standards and clinical compliance.
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders in live hospital environments.
