Project Manager - Wakefield

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join their team and oversee projects within the Yorkshire Water Frameworks for AMP8. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects that are essential to the region’s water infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects across multiple frameworks, adhering to strict quality, budget, and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects within the Yorkshire Water Framework, covering Clean / Waste Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure schemes.
  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities and achieve project objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, financial forecasts, and risk assessments, to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team and across project sites.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly within the water or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
