Project Manager (Construction/Engineering) Contract (expected 6-Months) Flexible on Day/Hourly Rate Garforth. Our client is expanding their manufacturing facility in Garforth and needs an experienced Project Manager to lead a 6‑month, high‑impact project to deliver structural expansion and the installation of new, large‑scale production machinery.

Key Duties
  • Project lifecycle ownership – planning, execution, monitoring, and handover.
  • Oversee civil, structural, and M&E works for site expansion.
  • Coordinate delivery, rigging, and commissioning of heavy machinery.
  • Manage contractors, budgets, timelines, and risk.
  • Ensure full compliance with CDM, health & safety, and quality standards.
  • Report progress to senior stakeholders and resolve issues on‑site.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven track record delivering construction/expansion projects in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Experience managing large machinery installation (crane lifts, precision alignment, commissioning).
  • Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety.
  • PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Immediate availability or short notice.
