Position

Project Manager

Location: Domestic & Commercial Sites across Edinburgh & surrounding areas

Pay: Up to £28/hr + Overtime (time & half after 39 hours/week)

Own Transport Required (Company Vehicle Provided After Probation)

Full-Time Role: Self-Employed progressing into Permanent employment

Global Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client, a reputable all-trades company based in Edinburgh, specialising in bathroom and kitchen upgrades across both domestic and commercial properties. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a hands-on Project Manager to take ownership of projects from initial quotation through to final handover. This role is ideal for someone with a strong trade background who’s confident managing people, materials, and client expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare accurate, competitive quotes
  • Raise and manage invoices and job documentation
  • Order materials and ensure timely delivery to site
  • Manage staff and subcontractors on-site to ensure smooth workflow
  • Oversee health & safety and ensure work meets required standards
  • Be the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the building or renovation sector (preferably kitchens/bathrooms)
  • Experience in a similar role, Project or Contracts Manager
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident managing tradespeople and running multiple jobs
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport initially (Company vehicle provided after successful probation)
  • Competent with quoting, ordering, and general project admin
