Project Manager – Catering Transformation (Fixed Term: 6–9 Months)
Location: Lake District
Contract Type: Fixed Term (6–9 months, possible extension to 12)
Salary: £45,000–£55,000
Start Date: January 2026

While on-site presence is required, flexible working models are considered – including part-time.

My client is undertaking an exciting transformation of their catering operations. We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Project Manager to lead a structured change programme that will redefine the food service offer, improve profitability, and enhance the customer experience.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high-impact catering transformation project. You will work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders to simplify processes, embed new standards, and roll out a consistent catering brand across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the catering transformation project.
  • Coordinate project timelines to minimise disruption to trade.
  • Collaborate with site teams to embed new processes and build engagement.
  • Track progress against KPIs and report regularly to senior leadership.
  • Champion customer focus, commercial awareness, and best practice.
  • Manage Health & Safety throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the Catering Manager and General Manager at RER.
About You
Essential
  • Proven experience managing projects or transformation programmes in catering, hospitality, or food service.
  • Strong understanding of catering operations, cost control, and customer service.
  • Track record of delivering change initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially astute with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Confident influencer with cross-functional collaboration skills.
Desirable
  • Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM).
  • Experience in visitor attractions, leisure, or multi-site catering.
  • Knowledge of sustainable catering practices.
