Project Manager – Northamptonshire/Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire

Location: Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + £7,000 Car Allowance

Contract: Full‑time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple construction sites across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of high‑profile projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the success, safety, quality, environmental compliance, and commercial performance of all contracts under your control.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to current Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
  • Manage all site‑based personnel, including direct staff and subcontractors.
  • Oversee client relationships and ensure effective communication with project teams.
  • Apply knowledge of CDM regulations, NEC3, and JCT Conditions of Contract.
  • Implement effective construction methods and techniques.
  • Manage labour, subcontractors, plant hire, and material procurement efficiently.
  • Provide accurate reporting to the Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Commercial Manager.
  • Ensure all contracts are managed to maximise margins and control costs.
  • Utilise programming software to monitor project progress.
  • Prepare essential safety documentation, including CPPs, RAMS, risk assessments, and COSHH assessments.
  • Work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
